The Harbour, a Bristol based charity, provides free counselling and psychotherapy to people affected by a life-threatening physical illness.

This includes:

  • Adults experiencing a life threatening illness
  • Carers, and those in a close relationship to someone with a life threatening illness
  • Those recently bereaved by a close relative /friend with a life threatening illness
  • Couples affected by life-threatening illness

Counselling and psychotherapy can offer reliable, regular support and care which helps with the process of coming to terms with a distressing and frightening situation. Our service complements the medical care provided for patients elsewhere.

If you think we might be able to help you or someone close to you, please check out Our Services.

We are a registered charity ( No. 1008360 ), and as such are dependent on voluntary donations in order to offer our service. See how YOU can help!
